Bionomics of Aphis gossypii on resistant and susceptible cantaloupe

, : Bionomics of Aphis gossypii on resistant and susceptible cantaloupe. Environmental Entomology 5(2): 357-361

The biology of Aphis gossypii Glov. was studied on resistant and susceptible cantaloupe plants (Cucumis melo) in California. In the field, there was no difference between the age distributions of populations on resistant and susceptible plants. However, late in the season, a significantly greater proportion of the population on susceptible plants consisted of alatoid nymphs.
