, : Biosystematic of Quercus garryana in relation to its distribution in the state of Washington. Northwest Science 49(2): 49-57

Samples of Q. garryana leaves from 28 sites were examined morphologically and chemically. Patterns of variation within individuals, populations and the species as a whole were determined from indices of similarity. Distinctions among isolated populations were minor, and there was little correlation between the pattern of similarities and geographical distribution.
