Chromosome study as an aid in tracing the evolution in Cruciferae

, : Chromosome study as an aid in tracing the evolution in Cruciferae. Cytologia 40(3/4): 727-734

The following were among the species analysed cytologically: Brassica alba, B. campestris, B. juncea, B. nigra, B. oleracea, Eruca sativa, Raphanus sativus, Cardamine hirsuta, Nasturtium indicum and N. officinale. The chromosome number of B. alba (2n = 24) is reported for the first time.
