, : Citrus production costs and returns in Florida, season 1974-75 with comparisons.

Costs and returns for citrus were obtained on 154 groves during the 1974-75 season. this is the 44th year of citrus cost work. yields in 1974-75 were up 5 percent from the previous season. operating costs per box were up nearly 20 percent and returns from fruit were up 3 percent from the 1973-74 season to 1974-75. as a result, net returns to growers were $0.46 per box and $0.35 per box, respectively.
