Climate and the infestation of stored cereals by insects

, : Climate and the infestation of stored cereals by insects. Brady, E U; Brower, J H; Hunter, P E; Jay, E G; Lum, P T M; Lund, H O; Mullen, M A; Davis, R Organisers: Proceedings of the First International Working Conference on Stored Product Entomology, Savannah, Georgia, USA, October 7-11, 1974: ; 117-141

Climate plays an important part in determining whether insects attacking stored cereals and cereal products will become established as major pests in food-storing regions of the world. By means of a recognised climatic classification of regions where major cereal crops are produced, the characteristic infestation patterns of storage pests predominating in these regions are examined.
