Competition for K, Ca and Mg between soybean and tall morningglory

, : Competition for K, Ca and Mg between soybean and tall morningglory. Proceedings 29th Annual Meeting Southern Weed Science Society: 416

A study was conducted to determine the absorption characteristics of K, Ca and Mg by soybean and tall morningglory (Ipomoea purpurea) grown under intra- and interspecific competition at densities of 195 000 and 16 000 - 65 000 plants/ha, respectively. Plant competition reduced the dry wt. accumulation of both species.
