Copper in some saline alkali soil of Egypt

, : Copper in some saline alkali soil of Egypt. Agrochimica 21(3/4): 226-234

In 71 horizontal soil samples from 14 profiles along the northern part of the Nile delta, various soil properties (pH, organic matter content, clay content, content of total soluble salts, CaCO3 content) were correlated with the contents of total and extractable Cu (extractable with NH4OAc, EDTA, HCl and HNO3). Multiple regression equations showed that the principle factor determining total Cu was the clay content.
