Differential response of tomato and lambsquarter to P levels and N source

, : Differential response of tomato and lambsquarter to P levels and N source. Proceedings of the Northeastern Weed Science Society, Baltimore, 1977 (Volume 31): 140

The early growth response of tomato Jetstar and lambsquarter (Chenopodium album) was characterized when the two species were grown alone and in competition at various levels of P and at varying ratios of nitrate N:ammonium N (total media N level constant) under lights in the greenhouse. Tomato required higher amounts of P for optimum growth than did C. album and the concn. of P in tomato DM was greater.
