Quantitative studies were carried out in the laboratory in India on the enzyme content of the gut and associated glands, and excreta of full-grown larvae of Chilena similis Wlk. collected from the wild medicinal plant Alhagi camelorum in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, during 1976.
