Effect of fat content and composition of diet on biochemical changes in the liver and blood of rats during protracted muscular activity

, : Effect of fat content and composition of diet on biochemical changes in the liver and blood of rats during protracted muscular activity. Voprosy Pitaniya (3): 3-6

Adult albino rats were fed for 2 weeks on diets of equal energy value and protein content, but differing in fat content (17, 31 or 60% of total nutrients), fatty acid composition and methionine content. The rats were killed at rest, immediately after swimming for 5 h in water at 32 deg C or 1, 12 and 48 h after swimming.
