Effect of fertilizer levels on photosynthetic activity in cocksfoot

, : Effect of fertilizer levels on photosynthetic activity in cocksfoot. Doklady Moskovskoi Sel' skokhozyaistvennoi Akademii im KA Timiryazeva (214): 40-43

Producing a 1.2- to 3-fold increase in leaf area and a 1.2- to 2-fold increase in photosynthetic potential in cocksfoot by applying calculated rates of mineral fertilizers, compared with recommended fertilizer rates or no fertilizer, markedly increased hay yields. True photosynthetic productivity varied from 2.4 to 9.64 g/m2 day depending on nutrition conditions.
