Effect of rates and concentration of urea solutions applied as a late foliar spray on grain yield and quality of winter rye

, : Effect of rates and concentration of urea solutions applied as a late foliar spray on grain yield and quality of winter rye. Nauchnye Trudy Udmurtskoi Sel' skokhozyaistvennoi Opytnoi Stantsii (5): 45-48

In trials with winter rye given a foliar spray of 15-75 kg N/ha as 5-25% urea sol. at the flowering/earing stage, increasing the N rates and concentration of the sol. increased grain yields to 3.04 t/ha and grain protein contents to 12.1%, compared with 2.58 t and 9.8%, resp., without N. The yield response/kg N at 75 kg/ha was 7.5 kg grain. The opt.
