Effects of temperature on reactions of soybean seedlings to powdery mildew

, : Effects of temperature on reactions of soybean seedlings to powdery mildew. Plant Disease Reporter 61(2): 122-124

Seedling reactions of 6 soybean cvs. to Microsphaera diffusa were determined at 18, 24 and 30 deg C alternating with 10 h at 20 deg. Disease ratings were made at 9, 17 and 24 days after inoculation. Rating of resistant cvs. Flambeau, Norchief and Chippewa 64 were significantly lower than ratings of susceptible cvs. Corsoy, Horosoy 63 and Wells at all dates and temps.
