Fluoride levels in human rib bone: a preliminary study

, : Fluoride levels in human rib bone: a preliminary study. Canadian Journal of Public Health 65(5): 359-361

The third rib was taken from 12 women and 34 men who had died between the ages of about 25 and 85 years. They had lived in parts of Quebec where the F- content of the water in most of the localities is <0.2 mg/litre. The subjects were divided into 6 groups, with age ranges, mean ages and numbers, respectively, of: A less than or equal to 39, 31, 2; B 40 to 49, 46.3, 3; C 50 to 59, 56.8, 5; D 60 to 69, 65.9, 15; E 70 to 79, 73.9, 16; F > 80, 83.4, 5.
