Data from surveys carried out by the Federal Institute for Statistics in 1963, 1968 and 1973 are used to analyze income, expenditure and consumption in agricultural households in the Croatian SR. The following are dealt with: changes in demographic and economic characteristics of agricultural households, the relationship between the available means and those employed, the structure of personal consumption and consumption of food products, durable consumer goods and housing conditions.
