In 3 field tests on coffee in Karnataka, India, 10 insecticides were applied in sprays at a concentration of 0.02% for the control of Coccus viridis (Green), and it was found from 4 counts of adults at intervals of 7 days that dicrotophos (Bidrin), endosulfan (Thiodan), methidathion (Supracide), methomyl (Lannate), parathion (Folidol), phenthoate (Phendal) and quinalphos (Ekalux) gave effective control.
