Integrated subtropical fruit (Citrus) crop pest control in Georgia

, : Integrated subtropical fruit (Citrus) crop pest control in Georgia. VIII International Plant Protection Congress, Moscow, 1975 Vol III Papers at sessions V VI and VII: 77-82

The main arthropod pests of Citrus in Georgia, Soviet Russia, are listed, and their distribution is described in relation to the climate of the main Citrus-growing areas there. About 80% of the pests have been introduced from other countries, and about 20 species (mainly coccoids, aleyrodids and mites) require control measures annually. Some indigenous and introduced natural enemies are listed, and the part they play in the control of pest populations is discussed.
