12 Russian Simmentals and 12 Russian Black Pieds were reared on high-plane feeding and 12 bulls of each breed on a moderate plane. In the 4 groups resp., daily gain to 6 mth of age averaged 1032, 931, 690 and 676 g, and consumption of FU/kg gain 4.17, 4.49, 4.27 and 4.28.
