Interaction of zinc with other micronutrient cations. 1. Effect of copper on zinc65 absorption by wheat seedlings and its translocation within the plants

, : Interaction of zinc with other micronutrient cations. 1. Effect of copper on zinc65 absorption by wheat seedlings and its translocation within the plants. Plant and Soil 45(1): 137-143

Effects of Cu on Zn absorption by seedlings of wheat WG 357 and its translocation within the plant was studied in solution culture using 65Zn. Absorption of Zn increased linearly with time within the limits studied (up to 80 min). It decreased, however, with increasing concentration of Cu in the nutrient solution.
