Isolation of the protoplasts from Asteraceae by means of xylonase

, : Isolation of the protoplasts from Asteraceae by means of xylonase. Biologia Plantarum (3): 219-222

The enzyme xylonase was used to isolate the protoplasts from the leaves of Calendula officinalis, Gazania splendens, Tithonia rotundifolia, Zinnia elegans and from the petals of Dahlia variabilis. The recovery of spherical undamaged protoplasts differed.
