The factory receives about 95 million kg milk/yr for processing into Gouda cheese (12 kg wt.) by a highly mechanized and automated system, including the Caso-Matic plant for automatic apportioning and filling of curd into moulds, 5 continuous cheese presses and an automatic cheese store, the first of its kind in the Netherlands. The store, which is only briefly described, has a capacity of 130 t cheese.
