An olive research networks system was established in 1974, based on the activities in the Mediterranean and Near East Areas of the Centre for the Improvement and Demonstration of Olive Production Techniques (CEMEDETO), which is a Spanish government project executed by the FAO. The main object of this bulletin is to inform olive research institutions of the activities of the networks and the results obtained.
