, : Performance of some feed and sweet corn varieties in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. Journal of Agricultural Research of China Chung hua Nung yeh Yen chiu 25(2): 108-114

In a study of five varieties in Saudi Arabia, the sweet corn hybrid variety Golden Beauty 66 had the shortest growth period and the lowest leaf-area index and was the shortest variety, and the forage maize Tainan 11 had the longest growth period, the highest leaf-area index and was the tallest. These varieties had the shortest and longest ears respectively. The pure-line sweet-corn variety Hawaiian Sugar had the highest fresh stalk yield.
