Prescribed burning of a sprayed, mixed brush community was carried out in spring 1976 under different meteorological conditions and with different amounts of grass available for fuel. At RH 52%, temp. 80 deg F and windspeed 5-9 miles/h, the fire burned only 10-15% of Prosopis juliflora var. glandulosa. At RH 25%, temp. 75 deg F and windspeed 8-16 miles/h, the fire burned 50-60% of P. juliflora var. glandulosa.Other references
