Rational fertilization of vineyards on the basis of leaf analysis

, : Rational fertilization of vineyards on the basis of leaf analysis. Mitteilungen 25(3): 171-180

Leaf analysis of vine plants on loess soil in Balatonboglar (Hungary) indicated K deficiency and luxury consumption of N. Adjusting fertilizer rates accordingly increased yields from 92 000 to 15 000 kg/ha. A leaf N/K ration of 2.4 appeared to be optimum.
