Rearing and slaughter value of broiler ducks and geese given different complete feeds

, : Rearing and slaughter value of broiler ducks and geese given different complete feeds. Zeszyty Naukowe Akademii Rolniczo Technicznej w Olsztynie (162): 3-52

Pekin ducks in 4 groups of 250 were fed to 3 weeks old on a commercial diet with 5% blood meal and 7% meat-and-bone meal; for 1 group these were replaced by ground field beans, rapeseed oilmeal and yeast. Crude protein was 21.2 and 18.8% in the respective diets. From 4 to 8 weeks of age 2 groups got 6 or 3% meat-and-bone meal in the diet and 2 got no animal protein. All diets had 16.8% crude protein.
