Relationship between the magnesium coefficient and the protein and fat contents of plants

, : Relationship between the magnesium coefficient and the protein and fat contents of plants. Novenytermeles 23(4): 321-325

The Mg coefficient (Mg content:total cation content) was measured in seeds of 21 species. Protein content and Mg coefficient were inversely related but the regression lines for seeds with high and low fat contents were markedly different.
