Results of insecticide tests on cereal aphids

, : Results of insecticide tests on cereal aphids. Archiv fur Phytopathologie und Pflanzenschutz 13(1): 45-51

Tests on the effects of 8 organophosphorus preparations on Rhopalosiphum padi (L.) and Sitobion avenae (F.) (Macrosiphum avenae) were carried out by exposing the aphids to papers bearing dried deposits in glass dishes, which were then stored at 25 deg C. The concentrations tested were 0.05, 0.5, 0.3 and 0.1%, and observations on mortality were made hourly for 6 h. The standard was gamma -BHC.
