Results of investigation on the genetics of immunity of wheat from rust

, : Results of investigation on the genetics of immunity of wheat from rust. Immunitet s kh rastenii k vreditelyam i boleznyam: 225-231

Field investigations showed that the character of resistance to brown rust can change in relation to the source of resistance, race composition and plant age. Some cvs., including Sonalik and Yakvia 53, possessing different genes for resistance to different races, maintained their resistance even to the new virulent race 77/VSk 73. Others, including Skorospelka 35, with high protection only against specific races, lost their resistance when the race composition was changed.
