Toxoplasma was not found on microscopic examination of the blood and organs of 602 wild animals (rodents, birds, reptiles and lagomorphs) in Turkmenia, USSR, but positive reactions to complement fixation were recorded in 13 of 62 camels, 11 of 68 cattle and in 6 of 17 species of wild animals tested.
