In field trials at Fundulea and Baneasa in 1966-70, 8 lines of winter wheat were compared with Bezostaya 1. Yields of lines were 4.75-5.0 t grain/ha at Fundulea compared with 4.49 t from Bezostaya 1 and were 2.94-3.53 t at Baneasa compared with 3.12 t from Bezostaya 1.
