Results of investigations on the control of the bean aphid (Aphis fabae Scop.) on beet with preparations containing fenitrothion as active ingredient

, : Results of investigations on the control of the bean aphid (Aphis fabae Scop.) on beet with preparations containing fenitrothion as active ingredient. Roczniki Nauk Rolniczych, E 2(2): 107-118

In further studies near Poznan in Poland with three preparations of fenitrothion (Z-80, Folithion EC 50 and Owadofos plynny 50) against sugar-beet pests, tests were carried out for the control of Aphis fabae Scop. on plants grown from seed or from seedlings. Three applications of Z-80 during the season afforded adequate protection of the plants, concentrations of 0.05, 0.01 and 0.015% being equally effective.
