Results of investigations on the inheritance of yellow rust resistance in barley

, : Results of investigations on the inheritance of yellow rust resistance in barley. Tagungsbericht, Akademie der Landwirtschaftswissenschaften der Deutschen Demokratischen Re ik (143): 385-396

The F2s and eight of the F3s of crosses between three field-resistant, one seedling-resistant, one completely resistant and two susceptible varieties were examined in the field and greenhouse. The segregation ratios suggested that resistance is controlled by two genes, a recessive allele of one conferring field resistance and a recessive allele of the other conferring seedling resistance.
