Results of long-term fertilizing experiments on various meadow association in north-west Croatia

, : Results of long-term fertilizing experiments on various meadow association in north-west Croatia. Poljoprivredna Znanstvena Smotra 32: 331-357

On meadows of Arrhenatherum elatius type and Bromus spp./Cynosurus cristatus type, as well as on more waterlogged meadows containing higher proportions of quality grasses and legumes, mineral fertilizer application produced very high increases in hay yields. Lower yields were obtained on some sites with particularly heavy acid clay soils with unfavourable water status during the growing season.
