Results of long-term storage of stallion semen frozen by the pellet method

, : Results of long-term storage of stallion semen frozen by the pellet method. Journal of Reproduction and Fertility. Supplement: 105-106

Stallion semen frozen as pellets showed no significant loss of sperm motility or fertility over long periods of storage in liquid nitrogen. 18 of 30 mares conceived to insemination with semen recovered in 9 ejaculates from 7 stallions and stored for 18 mth-7 yr.
