Results of many years' study of the seed progeny of Quercus robur

, : Results of many years' study of the seed progeny of Quercus robur. Lesovodstvo i agrolesomelior Resp mezhved temat nauch sb (48): 10-15

The results are presented of a 17-year study of the inheritance of such characters as growth rate, shape of crown and trunk and resistance to diseases and pests. Forms with rapid growth in the first 2-5 years of development retained rapid growth to the age of 17, so that plus trees could be identified from seedlings 3-4 years old.
