Results of nematicide treatments against chlorosis and clump of groundnuts in Upper Volta

, : Results of nematicide treatments against chlorosis and clump of groundnuts in Upper Volta. Cahiers ORSTOM, Biologie 10(3): 161-167

In field trials with groundnuts in 1972-4, the effects of application of nematicides on chlorosis associated with Aphasmatylenchus straturatus and clump virus disease transmitted by an unidentified soil vector were studied. Application of 25, 50 or 60 l Fumazone ha decreased disease symptoms and increased yields and also had a beneficial effect on following crops of groundnuts.
