Results of post-em. treatments for broad-leaved weed control in sugar-beet

, : Results of post-em. treatments for broad-leaved weed control in sugar-beet. Compte Rendu de la 9e Conference du COLUMA: 257-271

Post-em. treatments were made with phenmedipham at 1 or 1.3 kg/ha and with phenmedipham at 0.334 kg + either pyrazone at 1.6 kg/ha + wetter or metamitron at 1.4 kg/ha + wetter. Tables give details of the response of major weeds to the various treatments. Weed control was generally more effective if treatments were made on young weeds; however, the rate of phenmedipham in the mixtures could be increased to 0.668 kg/ha to control more developed weeds.
