Prevalence of the disease and degree of infection in three pear varieties. Zeszyty Naukowe Akademii Rolniczej w Krakowie, Ogrodnictwo (5): 147-160

Records of the incidence of symptoms in leaves, shoots and fruits on mature trees on 19 different rootstocks in 1970-1972 showed that Faworytka was more resistant than Lukasowka or Salisbury. Salisbury's resistance was strongly affected by the year. Interaction between rootstock and variety was apparent also, rootstock 4, for instance, improving the resistance of Faworytka and Salisbury but not of Lukasowka.
