Results of production trials of herbicide mixtures in red beet crops on alluvial soil in the middle reaches of the R. Oka

, : Results of production trials of herbicide mixtures in red beet crops on alluvial soil in the middle reaches of the R. Oka. Khimiya v Sel' skom Khozyaistve 15(8): 52-56

Trials were carried out in 1973-75 on medium to heavy loam meadow-sod and meadow alluvial soils; herbicide mixtures based on TCA, lenacil, dalapon, molinate and pyrazone were applied pre-em. Atsetlur (TCA + lenacil 86%) at 10-12 kg/ha was the best treatment, controlling 88-95% of annual broad-leaved weeds and 77-89% of grass weeds and not affecting the yield or quality of the roots.
