Results of public variety trials with sugar beet in 1972-4

, : Results of public variety trials with sugar beet in 1972-4. Listy Cukrovarnicke 91(12): 265-271

Yield and chemical composition data are presented for 15 sugar beet cultivars evaluated in 1972-4. Over a 3-year period the highest yields of roots (56.6 t/ha) and sugar (9.77 t/ha) were obtained by Dobrovicka A. Root and sugar yields of the other varieties tested were 49.0-53.8 and 8.75-9.56 t/ha, respectively.
