Rabbit ova were removed from the oviduct at the 2-cell stage and were replaced in one of the oviducts of donor animals after culture for 12, 24, 36 or 48 h. Non-cultured ova of the same age were transferred into the other oviduct. Of the cultured ova, 57, 45, 10 and 5% resp. developed after culture for 12, 24, 36 and 48 h v 40, 52, 71 and 50% of non-cultured ova.
