Results of research into the performance of some lines of winter wheat bred in the department of genetics and breeding

, : Results of research into the performance of some lines of winter wheat bred in the department of genetics and breeding. Lucrari Stiintifice, Institutul Agronomic "N Balcescu", A 15: 21-31

Fifteen high-yielding lines were individually selected from crosses between varieties with useful characteristics such as high yields, earliness, frost resistance or good quality. From these 15, eight with good frost resistance were retained and entered in comparative trials. Line 1110-63 and 14-66 exceeded the yield of the control Bezostaya 1 by 11-13% and 8-12% respectively.
