Results of research on malting barley, its present position and future prospects in Czechoslovakia

, : Results of research on malting barley, its present position and future prospects in Czechoslovakia. Scientia Agriculturae Bohemoslovaca 8(3): 159-174

Increases in barley production in Czechoslovakia in recent years have been due in part to the introduction of new high-yielding malting varieties such as Trumpf Rapid and Atlas. Of 21 varieties investigated, only KM1192 surpassed Trumpf in resistance to the ten most prevalent races of Erysiphe graminis.
