For a line of mice selected for litter size, litter size in the 25th-29th generations of selected mice averaged 13.84 v 8.08 for an unselected, control line, CR averaged 95.84 v 90.04%, mortality from birth to weaning 3.57 v 0.51%, weaning weight 8.62 v 11.56 g, and 56-day weight 27.29 v 25.96 g.
