Comparative investigations with eye cuttings from naturally infected, susceptible and resistant potato vars. showed that the radial immunodiffusion test (RID) as used in the GDR, when combined with an after treatment of the agar plate with 2% acetic acid gave results similar to those obtained with the ammonium sulphate test (AsT), an improved variant of the micro precipitation test (MP).Other references
