, : Results of several years of study of the treatment of Opisthorchis with chloxyle. Parazity i parazitozy zhivotnykh i cheloveka: 363-366

Chloxyle was tried against Opisthorchis infection in man in USSR. 0.3 g/kg body-weight daily, divided into 3 equal doses, was prescribed in 5-day treatment cycles. Of 99 patients given one cycle, 48 given 2 cycles and 17 given 3 cycles, 42, 14 and 4 patients, respectively, were found free from infection 4 months after treatment. A significant reduction in infection intensity was observed in 36.2%. Only 25% total cures were achieved when only 2 cycles of treatment were prescribed.
