Results of soybean weed control trials with FMC-25 213 and related compounds in the north central states

, : Results of soybean weed control trials with FMC-25 213 and related compounds in the north central states. Proceedings North Central Weed Control Conference, 1975 (Vol. 30): 77-79

FMC-25 213 (r-2-ethyl-5-methyl-cis-5-(2-methylbenzyloxy)-1,3-dioxane), FMC-30 371 (r-2-isopropyl-5-methyl-cis-5-(2-methylbenzyloxy)-1,3-dioxane) and FMC-30 372 (cis-5-(2-chlorobenzloxy)-r-2-isopropyl-5-methyl-1,3-dioxane) show varying potential for use in soybeans at the rates tested (typically between 1.5 and 2.5 lb/acre). FMC-25 213 is promising as a single treatment for broad-leaved weed and grass control and is more effective against broad-leaved weeds than FMC-30 371 and FMC-30 372.
