Results of studies on leaf analysis of carnations for the determination of macro-nutrient status during different growth stages

, : Results of studies on leaf analysis of carnations for the determination of macro-nutrient status during different growth stages. Archiv fur Gartenbau 25(6): 289-304

During a 3-year trial 5000 leaf samples of the carnation Scania were analysed. Optimal N, P and K levels are given for each stage of growth. Higher N levels were needed during early vegetative growth, but later higher K values were desirable.
