Tests in 1969-70 of 11 preparations for the control Myzus (Myzodes) persicae (Sulz.) on Gerbera jamesonii in Poland gave results similar to those already noticed. Against Tetranychus urticae Koch, the best results were obtained with 0.01% methiocarb (Mesurol), 0.1% phosphamidon (Dimecron) and 0.05% monocrotophos (Azodrin). The best against M. persicae were again 0.05% monocrotophos, 0.1% methiocarb and 0.05% propoxur (Unden).
